What is IQ Testing?

IQ testing and cognitive assessments evaluate various aspects of intellectual functioning, including verbal comprehension, fluid reasoning, working memory, and processing speed. At Manasvi, we administer globally standardized batteries (like the WISC for children and WAIS for adults) to identify learning needs, intellectual giftedness, or cognitive deficits.

Why IQ Testing?

  • Provides an accurate measure of overall intellectual potential (FSIQ)
  • Identifies specific learning disabilities or developmental needs
  • Highlights cognitive strengths and areas needing support
  • Essential for securing school accommodations or educational support plans

What to expect

IQ tests are administered face-to-face in a quiet testing room. The assessment involves a series of interactive tasks, verbal questions, and visual puzzles. It takes about 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Your psychologist will compile the scores into a comprehensive report explaining your cognitive profile and actionable recommendations.

What IQ Testing is used for

Identifying learning difficulties & dyslexia Intellectual giftedness evaluation Cognitive decline screening Academic & school accommodations
